Lapbook Format FAQ

Most of our lapbooks are available in three distinct versions:

Printed Version: This version comes with everything you need, pre-printed and ready to go! All templates and instructions are included to complete the lapbooks, as well as the necessary number of folders for your convenience.

Digital Download: This version is downloaded directly to your computer in PDF format. No waiting for your pages to arrive or paying shipping fees! Buy today, start today! Simply print the pages you need from your computer and supply your own folders. This is also convenient in case students make mistakes. Just print the necessary pages again!

CD-ROM Version: The CD-ROM version is similar to the Digital Download. It is ideal for folks with slow internet connections. Instead of downloading the PDF file, we send it on a professionally formatted disc to your home. All you will need to do is pop the disc in your computer, print the pages you'll need, and supply your own folders.

Here are some frequently asked questions regarding our lapbook formats:

  How do I download my digital file?

  As soon as your credit card is approved, your browser will be redirected to our downloading page. Simply click on "Download Now" and your digital lapbook will automatically start to download to your desktop. A link to this same download page will also be emailed to you but remember it is only accessible for 24 hours.  

What happens if I have trouble downloading my lapbook?

  Our dedicated technical support team is here to help. Simply call 800.426.4650. Our hours are 9:00-5:00 Monday-Thursday Eastern Standard Time. Or email us at support@geomatters.com.

What happens if I don't download my digital file in the allotted 24-hour period?

  The download page is only accessible for 24 hours. If you fail to download before the 24 hours period simply contact us and we will gladly resend a new link. Be sure to save your download(s).  

What program do I need to read the digital file?

  Our lapbooks can be read with Adobe Reader. If you don't have Adobe Reader, you can download it for free at www.adobe.com. Downloading Adobe Reader is easy and will only take a few minutes. You must be using Adobe Reader 5.0 or higher.

How long will it take my digital file to download?

This depends on a number of factors, including the size of the specific file and the speed of your internet connection. All of our files are highly optimized to allow you to download them at the maximum speed possible. Ideally, it should take just a few minutes, but older internet connections may take longer. If you are concerned about download times, you might try purchasing the CD-ROM version.
