Peanut Butter Geography

Add a fun learning experience to your lunch hour by issuing a challenge to your students. With a USA map handy instruct students to nibble the edges of their peanut butter sandwich to form the shape of a state. Let each student nibble their sandwich in the shape of their choice of state. Or see how many states can be formed with one sandwich. Start with Colorado or Wyoming, nearly square shaped states. Nibble the right upper corner off to form Utah and so on.

Option: Use bread, nibble shapes, and then toast. Or lightly butter state-shaped bread, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, and bake until browned. Enjoy.
